About
A lake house with a long memory.
The lake
Where Chicago goes to breathe.
Lake Geneva has been a summer escape since the 1870s. The big weekends are lively. The shoulder seasons are quiet, and the sunsets are the same.

The building
Built in 1999, on the water.
It opened as the Auberge, the lakefront wing of the French Country Inn next door. Later it ran on its own as the Sand Hill Inn. In October 2026, a local family bought it and gave it a new name.

The family
Family-run and locally owned.
We answer the phone. We look after the place the way you would look after your own.
